With a heritage that dates back to 1797 and acknowledged as the oldest department in Norway, Steen & Strøm Magasin has secured its place as a destination spot at the heart of Oslo. Following redevelopment and as host to a variety of new luxury stores, we worked with Steen & Strøm Magasin to redesign its visual identity that better reflect this new era.
A hand drawn monogram, bespoke wordmark, clear tags and sans-serif typography, all bound by a classic black and white colour palette, reinforces the heritage and traditions of the store whilst also looking to the future, and conveys exclusivity and quality.
