In 1919 Norwegian Sverre Braastad and wife Edith took over the management of Cognac House, developing the company into the largest family run producer of cognac in France. Twenty years later they took over the Château de Triac estate. This estate has since been home to four generations of Braastads who continue to honour their family legacy by holding true to the enduring industry and family traditions of cognac production.
HAND DRAWN TYPOGRAPHY
Our design draws on and articulates a significant legacy and an interesting story through a refined design language that uses a confluence of individual graphic elements to tell a bigger story. These included a more authentic and better reproducible portrait of Sverre Braastad, and an illustration of the magnificent Château de Triac building. These are set alongside clear heritage and quality cues in the choice of type, shape of label and a gold foil print finish.
