Flight Beer Co. is an international craft beer concept made up of three separate ranges; Aviators, Celebrities and Flights. Together, these pay tribute to significant aviation events and salute aviators of history. The brand seeks to involve breweries from around the world, producing and bottling at the very location of a historic event or in the hometown of a distinguished aviator. This targeted production intends to foster a sense of pride within these areas and an ownership of each product variant.
‘Flight Beer – Aviators’ salutes great pilots of history. Each label tells the real-life story of bravery in the face of challenging situations and unfavourable odds. The details of each story are brought to life through even the smallest elements on pack. These include “I have a real problem”, the last words of Art Scholl, which are featured on the Pacific Bitter.
‘Flight Beer – Celebrities’ feature a range of aviation stories and history linked to well-known sports personalities, singers and film stars such as Carole Lombard whose story appears on the Pilsner label.
‘Flight Beer – Flights’ focuses on a number of historic aviation accidents and a unique and intriguing story tied to each of these. The Pale Lager, for example, is dedicated to Flight 508 and “The Girl Who Fell from The Sky”, a name given to Juliane Koepcke, a teenager that survived a two-mile fall into the Amazon rainforest.
