The Bakers choice

Norway’s Hatting Bakery, established in 1947, has grown to become one of Europe’s leading bread producers. We worked with the bakery to develop a new and cohesive visual identity and packaging design for a range that consisted of a variety of frozen products sold in a mix of bags and boxes.

The new design for Hattings Bakery range has a light and crafted character that calls to mind a freshly baked taste. This is expressed through carefully arranged product photography within well-lit and dressed settings, and by working together a hand drawn logotype within a doily-inspired frame. Alongside serif typography and a blue and gold colour palette we created a clear continuity across all packaging structures, and a sense of both the professional and personable.
