The Oslo Promenade

Promenaden, located in the heart of Oslo, is the city’s new luxury shopping district. The streets of Promenaden play host to a wide range of luxury brands such as Gucci, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Burberry and Bottega Veneta, along with department stores like Steen & Strøm and Eger with more high profile retailers to follow. It is a distinctive district that, through the help of our visual identity design, brings together six unique areas of the city, which includes several listed buildings.

Working with Søylen Eiendom over several years, through planning, development and build, we developed a visual identity concept for the district that included logotype, flags, signage, wayfinding and a complimentary app.
The district is a careful balance of modern luxury brands with rich heritages, and similarly historical buildings given modern renovations. Our visual identity articulates this through a carefully crafted typographical balance, and the modern luxury vernacular of script and sans-serif, black and gold detailing.
