Jens Eide is a family owned down-to-earth butcher from Lillesand who has been dedicated to selling the highest quality meats since 1947.
We worked with the butcher to develop a new strategy and brand identity—which included logo and packaging design—that would communicate high quality, heritage and knowledge. We juxtaposed a bold, uppercase, sans-serif logotype alongside the finer narrative detail of Jens Eide’s brand story, highlighted this with a black and beige colour palette and used a paper wrap and seal to establish an authority and experience.
Our award-winning solution carefully balances traditional values with contemporary quality and went on to help Jens secure supermarket distribution and listing. Jens Eide has received a gold award for Packaging in both Graphis and Pentwards along with the Norwegian Design Council’s award for design excellence.
