On the 15th April our redesign of Lerum Solbærsirup was honoured with an Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian Design Council.
The verdict reads:
High quality. Lerum goes back to its roots and re-establishes its position as the true and original producer of Solbærsirup (blackcurrant cordial) by utilising a fresh and clear message that «real ingredients guarantee the best taste». In a tough marketplace the product feels genuine and believable. Focusing on historic values they have succeeded in communicating that they are the original. The bottle feels contemporary, the typography is luxuriant and establishes links back to the company’s past. The project succeeds in taking a strong ownership of Solbærsirup and shows great confidence in the product.
